You may encounter problems during the operation of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. The last thing you can do is performing factory data reset to return your device to its factory defaults. This setting erases all data from your device, including your Google or other email account settings, system and application data and settings, and downloaded applications
From the Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
Settings ➔ Privacy.
Touch Factory data reset, then follow the prompts to perform the reset
After a reset, you’ll be prompted to set up your device the next time you turn it on.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will reboot and restore to its original settings

Nokia 700 factory data reset.
There are two types of reset on Nokia 700 series, the soft reset and hard reset.
Soft Reset
Soft reset of Nokia 700 does not erase data (photos, videos, documents) or applications from
a third party, it just restores the .ini files from the ROM. To perform soft reset simply click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile: *#7780#
Hard Reset
The hard reset procedures (factory data reset) will restores the original operating system from the ROM and erase all data including data on the memory card. To do the hard reset simply click this combination of keys on the keyboard in the mobile: *#7370#
You can also perform the hard reset by following procedures:

- Turn on the divided by pressing the ON button.

How to reset the Samsung Galaxy Note back to factory settings
Method 1
- From the homescreen press the 'Menu' button.
- Press 'Settings'.
- Scroll down and tap 'Privacy'.
- Press 'Factory Data Reset'.
Press 'Reset Phone'.
Method 2
- Press and hold the Power/Lock/Reset for 10 to 15 seconds.
- The device will enumerate with different boot options
- Use the Volume Down button to scroll and the Volume Up button to select.
- Select 'Recovery'
- The phone will start up with the Motorola logo and power up to a little Android man logo with an exclamation mark.
- Press the Volume Up button and Volume Down button together at this screen.
- The device will display blue text on a black background.
- Use the Volume Down button to scroll down and the Power button to select.
- Select 'Wipe Data'/'Factory Reset' and press the Power key to confirm the selection.
- Use the Volume Down button again to select 'Yes' - delete all user data - and press the Volume Down button again to confirm
- The device will then start performing the Factory Data Reset
- Once the formatting is complete , press the Power button to confirm a reboot
- The message 'Rebooting' will be display
- The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
